Social and affordable housing
Through our two not-for-profit, wholly owned registered providers, Plexus and Omega Housing, we help to meet the need for essential housing at affordable rents in communities across the UK.
We work with local authorities, private landlords, investors and local residents to develop an understanding of local communities and to provide the homes people need.
Our housing offer includes:

- Regular inspections to ensure our homes are safe and well maintained
- Ongoing repairs and maintenance
- Support for tenants to live well in their home
Getting a home
If you are looking for a social or affordable home, you need to register with your Local Council. You will be placed on a waiting list and given a priority based on your housing need.
If you are allocated a Mears Living home, you will be given the chance to view your home and, if you are happy, we will sign you up as a tenant.
